Privacy policy

Haul Handbook is a static, content-only website. We collect as little as possible. This policy explains what is collected, by whom, and how to opt out.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run forms that collect personal information. We do not sell personal information. The limited data involved comes from the two sources described below.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-conscious analytics tool (such as Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages help readers, in aggregate. Where we use Google Analytics, we disable advertising features and ad-personalization signals, so the data measures content, not advertising profiles. Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers to count visits. It loads only when an analytics ID is configured for the build, and any standard browser setting or content blocker can block it.

Affiliate links and cookies

Some outbound links may be affiliate links. When you click one, the destination company may set a cookie so it can attribute a later signup to this site and pay us a commission. That cookie is set by the third party under its own privacy policy, not by us, and only if you click the link. Our affiliate disclosure explains the program status and names any active partners.

What we do not do

• We do not run display advertising networks.
• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• We do not require registration or collect payment information.

Your choices

You can turn analytics off for this site right here. We also honor your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out. You can also block analytics and third-party cookies with your browser settings or a content blocker, and the site will still work. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data held about you; because we hold almost none, there is little to act on, but you can contact us with any request.
